some quick calculations for reference:

bold cardinal x2 - 40str = 115.6 with no socket bonus

bold cardinal + inscribed ametrine - 30str+10crit = 102.3
socket bonus +6str = 17.34
102.3 + 17.34 = 119.64


but iff the socket bonus is +6 or more.
